Fouth and the last week of the holidays

Day 23- 17June2007

Resting for most of the time as i got myself mentally prepared for the last week. And have somewhat promised myself that it will be a busy day. And i managed to finish the project on the Malaysia trip.

Day 24- 18June2007

Today something cope up at school and i have to rush back. And i got informed that on this Thursday i will have to present for the Chong Boon Idea's Day. And my partner is Fiona from 2e2. And our topic will be on the Malaysia trip. which is just completed yesterday.

Day 25- 19June2007

There's band today and i have to wake up exceptionally early. I have ask my mother to wake me up but since she slept at 2am in the morning every day because of the computer, i set the alarm on my hand phone just in case. Today, we also got two new instructors who would be conducting us from now on.

Day 26- 20June2007

There's Maths remedial today and it was another early day. I am starting to really have the feeling that i am going to faint from not enough sleep. Might as well hang in there as it's the last section today. Groan, but this also reminds me of band practices on bother Thursday and Friday. God! Is this really a holiday for me or was it sufferings from hell?

Day 27- 21June2007

Arg! Today's Band and Idea Day clashes. Luckily, i have been excused for a while from band. But the bad thing is reaching school at 7.30am to finish up the script for the presentation. Which means i have to wake up at 6.30am to prepare. I might drop dead any moment. But, the good point is that i am able to have refreshment after presenting. Even though there were small hiccups along the presentation, we were praised by many teachers.

Day 28- 22June2007

Thank god i am finally able to concentrate on band for one day. But, the time given for sectional was short, it did some job. There were more room for improvement and those time given have to be treasured. And, my section needed to put in extra effort to recover the lost techniques after the two week rest.

Day 29- 23June2007

Saturday, the very last second day that we cannot afford to lose. I need to hurry up with the finishing of my holiday assignment. Oh! I forgot to add in that my brother is back from the army after two weeks. But returning tomorrow. I really hope the computer gets fixed somehow.

Day 30- 24June2007

Weather is fine. And a surprise coming up! Yes, my baby cousin is coming to my house for the day. A long day and my brother went back really hope he would come back without his fats. Time sure flies. Before you know it, the break is already over.

Third week of the holidays

Day 16- 10June2007


Stayed at home all day. Started my homework plus assessment. My mother even set a must for them to be done.

Day 17- 11June2007

I woke up early at 10.30am to prepare for i am going to my friend's house again. And this time, i planned to finish this once and for all. But, in the end one of the boys was late. Pulling the rest down the drain as we could not start without everyone present.

Day 18- 12June2007

My mother pull me out of the house in the afternoon. It was suppose to be my personal afternoon. She then dragged me all the way to Novena for shopping. We went round the whole shopping mall and went home with countless bags.

Day 19- 13June2007

Homework all day. Did not get to leave the house even one step. So bored stuff up with all the books.

Day 20- 14June2007

My mother dragged me out again and this time to Bishan. We were there going in circles yet found nothing to buy. So, we went home empty-handed.

Day 21- 15June2007

My brother is leaving for NS today. And my mother is going with him which leave me alone. Frankly, I am not afraid of being alone. And the first thing i did was to use the computer and check up on the updates. Somehow, the house is so silent that it gives me the creeps.

Day 22- 16June2007

I went to the National Library today. It was not crowded but there were no book of my interest. I really hope that Ang Mo Kio Library can obtain more books. If that happens, i would not have to worry of having no book to read.

Second week of the holidays

Day 8- 2June2007

Surprisingly, i did not receive any nagging from my mother. Since i could not get enough sleep, she allow me to rest the whole day. And i was there watching TV, playing games, sleeping, etc.

Day 9- 3June 2007

Sunday was the day that i use to visit my grandmother. We usually go there at noon and come back in the evening. And my baby cousins were there too. They are so cute(kawaii).

Day 10- 4June2007

Stayed at home all day. And i was quite shock that my mother had not nag on me yet. But i cannot confirm that she would not for the whole holiday. Or should i said that it is impossible.

Day 11- 5June2007

Slept late last night so it was not surprising that i woke up late as well. I might have gotten used to school life that i woke up very early every morning. I skipped dinner today which is very unusual of me.

Day 12- 6June2007

Today was another exciting day. I woke up early and went all the way to Serangoon Central. Can you guess what am I doing there? I doubt so! Actually, i went there for CIP programme. Everyone was divided into small groups and scattered all over Singapore. Some unfortunate ones were arranged to go all the way to Vivo City. My group is suppose to do our job at Shop & Save. There we are promoting the use of reusable bags. It was a tiring day but everyone gained some experience and memories.

Day 13- 7June2007

Another busy day. There's Maths remedial at 10.30am. And i am now heading to my friend's house. We had agreed on a day to meet up and finish our project. But it seems that there was not enough time. The boys were buying time and resulting in the project unable to be finished. So, we arranged another day to meet up again.

Day 14- 8June2007

There's remedial today again. And, i did pretty well today. I managed to get all 3 of the worksheets done before the rest. Some had even stayed for 2-3hours while i only used 1 hour. And surprisingly, i am able to get all of them correct!

Day 15- 9June2007

Sleep through the whole day. And managed to finish reading 2 books. The books i read on were not bad. I brought them at the book fare which took a long time to find them.

First week of the hoilday

Day 1- 26May2007

Time sure flies. This was already the first day of the holidays.Today was a tiring day. I woke up at 5.45am to get ready. As today, I will be heading on a 4 day 3 night camp. We will be going to Malaysia! I am so excited as this will be my first time going overseas. But there was nothing much on the first day. All we did was ride in the bus for one whole day. WE travelled fro one whole day just to reach Cameron Highlands which shows how small Singapore is. On the way up i even puke! This reminds me that i could not take a bus ride for too long. So for most of the time in the bus, I slept to let time past faster. Before i know it, we finished our dinner and were in our rooms. I have never slept in a hotel before let alone a 4 star resort. In Malaysia, a hotel can also be referred to motel. And it feels great! To be enjoying myself in a bathtub.

Day 2- 27May2007

Perhaps it is because of my sickness that i am unable to sleep that night. I slept for only 3hours. So i woke up at 4.30am. It was still dark. And not forgetting that we are on a mountain a little above the clouds, it was freezing. And i took a hot bath to warm myself which feels heavenly. Today we spent a few hours on Cameron Highlands before heading down. And i puke again but not as badly as going up.I did not eat much for yesterday and today i have no appetite at all. The next stop is the Rose Garden. The flowers there were amazing. The were many kinds of variety from roses to sunflowers. And for the day's highlights, the Fireflies cruise!! I enjoyed myself very much that day and managed to fell asleep soon.

Day 3- 28May2007

Today was a short trip. Firstly, we went to the padi fields and get to know of the diseases that the rice plants will die of. We went to look at the vast area of land put aside for farming. Next, we went to the rice mills to see how rice i being packed. Then, we proceed to the oil mill. We have to know that oil palm is the cash crop of Malaysia. In the oil mill, we could see lots of fruits from the oil palm itself. We were introduced to two types of oil that comes from the fruits and explained to the processes it have to go through. And to end off the day, we did what we love most which is shopping!! We took less than an hour to shop at the mall as the traffic jam is stalling our time. Alas, we finished our last meeting that night and head to bed.

Day 4- 29May2007

Woke up today at 9am and missed breakfast. The time was tight and both my roommate and me have to pack things up quickly. Somehow, we reached the lobby faster than the teachers and successfully check-out of the hotel. Everyone was tired and mostly slept as we head for lunch at an unique restaurant. The food prepared were amazingly delicious and i could not help but ate more than usual. Lastly, we head to another shopping mall for free time before heading back to Singapore. By the time we reach school, it was already 7pm. Slowly, everyone sat up from their seats in the bus and got our belongings. WE then dismissed ourselves. Well, that is the end of the trip and everyone had had an early night. Home sweet home~!

May 5- 30May2007

Everyone returned to school except me. Want to know why? Because my mother do not allow me to take part the activities on that day. So i stayed home and took my time for sleep since i lack of them. Guess what? My brother will be going for NS(National Services) soon. And i would be able to use the computer for my projects.

May 6- 31May2007

Today is special. Do you remember something now? Yes, today is Vesak Day. Well, i do not celebrate Vesak Day so why am i so excited? Because, i would be going to a book fare. There would be all sorts of books mostly from China and Taiwan. I really look forward to it as i love to read books. Both my mother and me set off for the place at noon. It was magnificent! The place was huge and contained different categories. I remembered that i came to a book fare before. I managed to buy a few books from there and went home late.

Day 7- 1June2007

Today is band day. Band starts at 9am sharp so i have to report there at 8.45am to latest. Any later than that, it would bring punishment to myself. And right before band ended, it started raining heavily. Luckily i brought my umbrella or i would have been soaked.

Hi to all who has visited my blog. My name is Jing yi. I'm quiet type of girl and i never talk to anyone whom i do not know. The subjects i am good in are Art and Science. My hobbies are watching TV, Listening to Music and many more.
I do not have much friends but mostly all the friends i knew were my good friends. I even keep in touch with friends in primary school. When we met outside, we would say hello to each other. My family have 4 members. Me, My Brother, Mother and Father. My mother stays at home as a house wife. My brother going to army in 3 months time. My father working and me as a student.
